The Club
FC Mohajer Leipzig eV was founded on July 17th, 2020, by a group of football enthusiasts in Leipzig, Germany. Most of our members come from Afghanistan. But now, people from more than eight countries and with a wide variety of life stories gather under our emblem.
The preamble to our statutes would like to express this:
Created from a player’s community of young people from Afghanistan, FC Mohajer Leipzig is particularly committed to the integrative power of sports. In playful interaction and rule-based competition, there is room for people to meet – regardless of their nationality, origin, language, and religion. Everyone who follows the rules of the sport is welcome here. The name of the club shows this spirit with the Persian term Mohajer, which means migrant in German.
The Team
In the 2023/2024 season, our men’s team will play in a team partnership with the second men from SV West 03 Leipzig eV and the third men from FC Blau-Weiß Leipzig eV.
We train at the Kurt-Kresse-Kampfbahn in Diezmannstr. 16, 04207 Leipzig.
The sports centre is managed by Blau-Weiß, with whom we are linked not only by the team partnership but also by further cooperation.
Our training times:
Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
If you are interested, you are welcome for a trial training session.
